The event combined shipyard access with yacht testing
Galeon opened the programme with a press day and invited guests through the shipyard before putting current yachts on the water for testing. That combination lets buyers connect construction methods and production scale with the way finished boats behave once launched.
For private owners, factory access can clarify details that are difficult to understand at a conventional boat show. Service access, structural choices and equipment installation become easier to discuss when the production process is visible rather than hidden behind completed interiors.
Four LYG-sized models carried the relevant story
The event included the 430 Explorer, 520 FLY and 620 FLY, while the new 570 SKY was presented in pre-premiere form. All four sit between roughly thirteen and twenty metres, keeping them comfortably inside LYG's size boundary.
Galeon also showed smaller models below 12 metres, but those fall outside LYG and are not part of this coverage. The focus here remains on the models that function as private luxury yachts rather than smaller leisure boats.
The 570 SKY previewed a hidden-flybridge approach
The pre-premiere 570 SKY uses a retractable upper helm arrangement to combine the profile of a hardtop yacht with the functionality of a flybridge. Galeon also integrates fold-down Beach Mode balconies and multiple aft-cockpit configurations into the 17.55-metre platform.
That makes the model relevant to owners who want upper-deck visibility without the visual bulk of a conventional flybridge. Experience Days gave invited clients an early chance to judge whether the convertible concept adds useful flexibility or simply extra mechanical complexity.
The programme also reinforced Galeon's dealer network
Galeon used the event to recognise dealers from the United States, Poland and the Balkans during its annual awards gala. The final SEA and SKY gathering then brought yacht clients together with helicopter owners in a broader lifestyle setting.
For LYG owners, the dealer element matters because after-sales support is part of the ownership experience. A strong international network can reduce downtime and improve coordination when yachts move between cruising regions rather than remaining close to the original selling dealer.
