Andrea Frabetti has returned to Ferretti Group as personal advisor to CEO Stassi Anastassov, taking a strategic role focused on medium- and long-term development rather than direct responsibility for day-to-day operating structures. The appointment brings a former Ferretti engineering leader and Sunseeker chief executive back into the group.
A strategy role rather than an operating post
Frabetti will support the chief executive on market development, technology and potential new business opportunities. The remit is designed around anticipating changes in yacht ownership, luxury purchasing, product development, services and partnerships rather than taking control of an individual Ferretti business unit.
Nearly 25 years of earlier Ferretti experience
Frabetti previously spent almost 25 years with Ferretti Group and headed Ferretti Engineering, the technology division involved in developing motor yachts across the group's brands. That background gives him familiarity with the engineering and product-development structure behind Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing and the group's other marques.
Experience beyond the group
After leaving Ferretti, Frabetti served as chief executive of Diesel Center and later held chief technology officer and chief executive positions at Sunseeker International. He left the British builder in November 2025 and has also served on judging panels for marine-industry design and boatbuilding awards.
Why the appointment matters to LYG
Several Ferretti Group brands build models directly inside Luxury Yacht Guide's 12 to 23.99 metre range. A strategy role focused on technology, ownership models and new services therefore has potential relevance beyond corporate management, particularly where future product and customer-experience decisions affect Ferretti Yachts, Riva and Pershing owners.
