d’Albora Rushcutters Bay Marina has reached the halfway point in a major refurbishment on Sydney Harbour, with Bellingham Marine carrying out the staged upgrade while the marina remains operational. Completion is planned by the end of 2026.
106 berths are being upgraded
The marina provides 106 wet berths for yachts up to 40 metres, serving both long-term berth holders and visiting yachts. Work has already been completed on the S and D arms, is underway on C arm, and will move to A and B arms as the project progresses.
Power, water and pump-out at every berth
The refurbishment goes beyond replacing pontoons. d’Albora says each berth is receiving enhanced electrical power and fresh-water services, improved fire-fighting capability and an individual vessel pump-out connection, directly affecting day-to-day convenience for owners and crews.
Fuel infrastructure is also being renewed
The marina’s fuelling infrastructure is part of the project, with the 24-hour fuel wharf expected to return to service as works progress. Maintaining access in stages allows berth holders to continue using the marina while individual arms are rebuilt and services are commissioned.
A central Sydney Harbour base
Rushcutters Bay sits close to Sydney’s CBD and is also the hub for d’Albora Yacht Brokers. Once complete, the works should strengthen the marina’s role as both a city-centre berthing base and a service point for owners moving around Sydney Harbour and the wider New South Wales coast.
