Itama 70 overview
The Itama 70 is a 20.93-metre open yacht introduced as part of the renewal of Itama's range. The first unit entered the water in 2026. Exterior styling is by Vallicelli Design and the interiors are by IdeaeItalia, giving the model a distinct design team while maintaining the long, low proportions associated with the Itama name.
The main deck is arranged around an extra-large cockpit with a U-shaped lounge and dining area. Continuous hull windows emphasise the yacht's horizontal profile, while a large foredeck sunpad is integrated into the deck shape. Below, the master suite is positioned aft and the accommodation is arranged on a single level between cabins to improve movement through the lower deck.
Dimensions and engine choices
Current builder specifications give an overall length of 20.93 metres, maximum beam of 5.30 metres and draft of 1.75 metres. The standard package uses twin MAN V12 1400 engines rated at 1,400 hp each, with a published maximum speed of about 37 knots. The larger MAN V12 1550 option raises output to 1,550 hp per engine and the builder gives a preliminary maximum of about 39 knots.
The Luxury Yacht Guide record also retains the builder's published cruise figures associated with the two engine packages: approximately 33 knots for the standard installation and 35 knots for the higher-output option. The accommodation provides three cabins and three bathrooms, with an optional crew cabin.
Driving and onboard life
The helm is offset to port with twin seats, while access to the foredeck is separated from the lower-deck companionway. This helps keep guest movement and navigation practical when several people are using the cockpit. The design remains fundamentally an open yacht, but the accommodation and beam move it well beyond day-boat territory.

At just under 21 metres, the Itama 70 is aimed at owners who want sports-yacht speed and open-air living but require three proper cabins and a more substantial cruising platform. Its closest comparisons should therefore be large express yachts and open cruisers rather than conventional flybridge designs. The principal attraction is the ability to combine high cruising speeds with a relatively uncluttered Mediterranean deck plan.
