Ferretti Group has launched the first Itama 70 at its Marina di Ravenna production site. The 21.23-metre open yacht is the second model in Itama’s range-renewal programme and brings the brand’s low-profile performance identity into a larger platform.

The yacht has a 5.30-metre beam, exterior styling by Vallicelli Design and interiors by IdeaeItalia. Development was carried out with Ferretti Group’s product strategy and engineering teams.

Why this matters in the luxury-yacht market

Launching the first hull moves the Itama 70 from design proposition to an operating yacht that can be tested by owners and the market. It also demonstrates the role of Ferretti’s Ravenna facility in producing newer models across the group.

The 70 is designed around extensive open-air living while retaining the clean lines and sporty character associated with Itama. Its size gives the design team more scope for accommodation without moving the boat beyond the under-24-metre segment.

What comes next

After commissioning, the first yacht becomes the reference point for subsequent production. Boat-show appearances and sea trials will provide the next opportunity to assess performance, deck ergonomics and the quality of the new interior arrangement.

Luxury Yacht Guide is following this development from official builder information and will update the coverage when further verified specifications, launch details or owner-use information becomes available.
