Itama is an Italian builder of open performance yachts, founded in Rome in 1969 by designer Mario Amati. The brand developed around a distinctive Mediterranean open-yacht identity combining clean lines, performance and direct connection with the sea.
Ferretti Group officially acquired Itama in October 2004. The brand remains part of the Ferretti Group portfolio, with headquarters and a production site at Via Ansaldo 9b in Forlì and an additional production site in Mondolfo.
The current Itama production collection comprises five open yachts within Luxury Yacht Guide's 12.00–23.99 metre scope: Itama 75, Itama 70, Itama 62RS, Itama 54 and Itama 45RS.
