The ClubSwan 43 is Nautor Swan's modern crossover between dedicated One Design racing and performance cruising. Designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian, the 14.56-metre yacht was developed to compete within the Swan One Design environment while also being suitable for rating competition. Unlike a stripped-out specialist race boat, it can be configured for sport-cruising use, giving an owner one platform for serious racing and more relaxed time aboard.
Lightweight construction and race-focused design
Nautor Swan uses vinylester-infused construction with carbon reinforcement for the hull and deck, together with a carbon mast and boom. The deck plan and sailing systems are shaped around competitive use, while the design also allows the boat to move between racing and cruising roles. The official specification gives a 14.56-metre overall length including bowsprit, a 4.25-metre maximum beam and a light displacement below seven tonnes, illustrating the emphasis on low weight and responsive performance.
Interior flexibility
The interior by Lucio Micheletti and Micheletti+Partners is deliberately adaptable rather than conventionally heavy. Nautor Swan describes a substantial proportion of the interior as removable for racing and reinstallable for cruising, allowing the yacht to preserve useful comfort without compromising its competition role. For buyers who actively race but do not want a yacht limited to race-day use, the ClubSwan 43 offers one of the clearest performance-cruising propositions in this size bracket.
