Plash Marine Lighting has announced an expanded forged-carbon lighting line for IBEX 2026, naming Altius and Satius spreader lights alongside Project Tahoe, a low-profile 20-inch light bar. Its 17 September exhibitor notice distinguishes the existing spreader-light range from a Tahoe product planned for January 2027.
Deck illumination can matter on a 12–23.99-metre yacht, but the correct installation depends on beam patterns, glare and electrical integration rather than styling alone. A trade-show preview should not be mistaken for an immediately deliverable model.
New shapes in the forged-carbon line
Plash describes Altius and Satius as additions to its forged-carbon-fibre spreader-light offering. The construction changes the housing design, while the yard still needs verified mounting, sealing and electrical specifications.
A light's position above a deck or working area affects visibility and can also create glare for helm and neighbouring vessels. Installers should check real beam data and intended use instead of selecting solely from a photograph.
Project Tahoe follows later
The company's announcement identifies Project Tahoe as a 20-inch low-profile light bar planned for January 2027. That date makes the product a future release rather than a completed September delivery.
The final specification, compatibility and any certifications should be obtained when the manufacturer publishes them. LYG does not invent output figures or waterproof ratings absent from the verified release.

The show is scheduled at Tampa Convention Center from 6 to 8 October and brings suppliers together with marine builders. A yacht owner considering a lighting refit should involve the installer early to review wiring, switching and structural attachment.
