Italian materials supplier Vaber Industriale has announced a search for US distribution partners as it prepares to exhibit at IBEX 2026. Three company releases dated 24 September identify the North American expansion, marine materials and a milestone ahead of its seventieth anniversary.
The company's catalogue includes adhesives, sealants and sound-damping products, all relevant to how a yacht is built and refitted. The announcement does not identify a particular LYG yacht as a customer or certify a material for every marine installation.
A supplier reaches for broader coverage
Vaber traces its industrial activities to 1957 and says it has supplied the marine sector since the 1980s. Its IBEX announcement focuses on distribution and technical relationships with US customers rather than a completed new shipyard contract.
Availability is part of a yard's decision because specialist adhesives need predictable replenishment and batch traceability. The actual US channel and supported product list should be confirmed after the show.
Materials need the right application
The official range spans adhesives, sealants, protective coatings and acoustic treatments, with some products intended for very different industrial uses. A builder must check the exact product sheet, substrate, curing conditions and any applicable marine approval.
A product suitable for one bonding or sound-damping task should not be substituted into a structural or fire-rated assembly without engineering sign-off. Training and application controls matter as much as the brand.
Tampa provides a technical meeting point
IBEX runs at Tampa Convention Center from 6 to 8 October and lists Vaber among exhibitors with official September releases. Its US expansion may offer additional supply routes for production yards and specialist refit contractors.
LYG uses the official event image to illustrate the upcoming trade appearance, not as a photograph of a specific Vaber product. Procurement teams should obtain current documentation directly from the company.
