The National Marine Manufacturers Association has announced an environmental, health and safety briefing at IBEX on Thursday 8 October 2026, bringing industry and US Coast Guard speakers to Tampa. The session will address developing compliance questions for boat, engine and equipment manufacturers.
For builders of 12–23.99-metre luxury yachts, the programme is a source of information on production responsibilities, not a new law or a blanket certification requirement. The official notice schedules the seminar for 8–9:40 a.m. Eastern at the Tampa Convention Center.
Materials and reporting on the agenda
The organisers identify state PFAS reporting, California Proposition 65 warnings and global environmental rules as discussion areas. They will also present an EHS master class intended to help builders examine their own working procedures.
