The hotel experience is being extended onto the water
The Fasano Al Mare Hotel & Beach Club will offer guests access to a dedicated Seadeck fleet anchored in the bay facing Tavolara Island. Azimut says the yachts can function either as private residences during a stay or as bases for exploring Sardinia by sea.
This creates a different ownership-style experience from normal charter because the yacht is integrated directly into the hospitality ecosystem. Guests move between hotel, beach club and yacht under one service standard rather than arranging a separate vessel through an unrelated operator.
Seadeck 7 is the LYG-sized model in the project
Azimut says the five-yacht fleet includes Seadeck 7 and Seadeck 9 models. LYG coverage is limited to the 21.70-metre Seadeck 7; the 25.60-metre Seadeck 9 sits above the publication's 24-metre boundary and falls outside this segment.
That distinction is important because the Seadeck 7 delivers a four-cabin layout and crew accommodation without crossing into superyacht length. It shows how a sub-24-metre yacht can support a fully serviced hospitality model when operations are professionally organised.
Fasano chefs and crew will provide the onboard service
Each yacht will be fully crewed, with a dedicated onboard team and chefs responsible for delivering Fasano's gastronomy. Azimut, JHSF and Fasano are also collaborating on customised layouts and interiors so the boats align more closely with the land-based hotel experience.
For guests, consistency is the main benefit. The yacht is not simply transport to another beach; it becomes another room within the wider hospitality product, with service, dining and styling designed to feel connected to the same brand.
The fleet operates during Sardinia's peak season
Azimut says the yachts will operate between July and September, matching the period of strongest demand in Sardinia. That seasonal model allows the fleet to concentrate staff, maintenance and guest operations around a defined window rather than attempting year-round deployment.
For LYG readers, the project is also a useful ownership trend. Luxury-yacht builders are increasingly linking their boats with hotels, clubs and branded experiences, creating alternative ways for clients to use premium yachts without necessarily owning and managing one themselves.
