Asia Yachting has expanded its Fountaine Pajot dealership territory to Singapore and Thailand, extending an existing relationship that already covered Hong Kong and the Philippines. The agreement creates a four-market sales and support network for Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans and Fountaine Pajot Yachts across key parts of Asia.

The expansion was formalised during the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival. For owners in the region, the practical effect should be broader local access to sales advice, after-sales support, yacht showcases and brand activities without relying on representation from another country.

Four Asian markets now sit under one dealer network

Asia Yachting's Fountaine Pajot representation now spans Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. The company first developed its relationship with the French builder in Hong Kong before adding more product categories and territories over time.

Bringing four markets under one dealer organisation can also simplify regional support for owners who move yachts between cruising grounds. Singapore and Thailand are both established yachting centres, while Hong Kong and the Philippines provide additional bases across East and Southeast Asia.

Agreement covers sail and power catamarans

The expanded arrangement covers Fountaine Pajot's sailing-catamaran range as well as the Fountaine Pajot Yachts division. Current sailing models include the FP41, FP44, FP48, FP51 and FP55, all of which fall within Luxury Yacht Guide's 12-to-23.99-metre range.

The larger Fountaine Pajot Yachts portfolio includes power and sailing catamarans extending upward through the luxury market. LYG coverage remains restricted to models below 24 metres, but the common dealership structure means the same regional sales and service organisation supports owners across multiple size classes.

Cannes signing follows growing Asian catamaran demand

Asia Yachting founder and chief executive Olivier Besson said the company has seen continuing development in the Asian catamaran market. The expanded territory reflects the belief that buyers increasingly value the space, stability and accommodation offered by multihulls for regional cruising.

Fountaine Pajot has also been expanding its model range and production strategy, creating a broader product ladder for dealers. Local market knowledge is particularly important for catamarans because marina availability, berth width, charter demand and owner usage can vary considerably between countries.

After-sales support becomes part of the expansion

The agreement is not limited to new-yacht sales. Asia Yachting says the expanded representation includes local after-sales support, client activities, showcases and participation in major yachting events across the four territories.

That service component can be as important as the initial sale for owners of 12-to-23.99-metre cruising yachts. Warranty work, maintenance coordination and access to parts all influence the ownership experience, particularly where yachts cruise between several countries during the year.
