Sixty-two stops turn ownership into a structured world voyage

Xquisite describes the Great Xcape as a Freeport-to-Freeport circumnavigation with 62 stops spread across four years. The fleet is due to depart the Bahamas in the fourth quarter of 2027, then move through the Panama Canal and South Pacific as part of a route intended to take private owners around the world in their own yachts.

The distinction is important because the programme does not turn the yachts into charter vessels or remove owners from command. Instead, it adds an organised framework around a private cruising programme, reducing some of the logistical uncertainty that can make a multi-year circumnavigation difficult to plan independently.

The new 52 Exploration is being positioned around the voyage

Xquisite says its new 52-foot Exploration Power Catamaran was conceived specifically with this kind of extended passage programme in mind. At roughly 16 metres, the model falls directly inside the Luxury Yacht Guide sector and is intended to combine solar generation, long-range cruising and an optional hybrid propulsion package.

That makes the Great Xcape more than a travel itinerary. It also gives Xquisite a real-world use case around which to frame the design of a new production model, with range, storage, energy management and owner comfort judged against years of continuous cruising rather than short seasonal trips.

Three new-build places and certified pre-owned yachts remain available

The programme currently says three new builds can still join the voyage, with places tied to the Freeport departure, Panama Canal section and South Pacific route. Xquisite is also highlighting four certified pre-owned yachts already in Freeport as possible entry points for owners who do not want to wait for a new-build slot.

The certified pre-owned programme includes a full technical check, one week of onboard training and a 90-day extended warranty. Those provisions are particularly relevant before a circumnavigation because condition, systems knowledge and owner familiarity can matter as much as initial purchase price once a yacht begins operating far from its home yard.

Assisted cruising addresses one of the hardest parts of going global

A world voyage involves far more than navigation between attractive destinations. Maintenance planning, visas, weather windows, spares, communications and local logistics can become major workloads for private owners, especially when the itinerary spans several oceans and multiple years.

By packaging the route and support network around a fleet of similar yachts, Xquisite is creating a different ownership proposition. Owners still experience the independence of taking their own catamaran around the world, but with a manufacturer-backed community and a more structured framework behind the voyage.
