The outboard installation can exceed 50 knots

Wally offers the 43X with Mercury Verado V10 power and a higher-output Mercury Racing 500R option. With the optional package, the builder publishes a maximum speed of 52 knots and a cruising speed of 32 knots.

That level of performance gives the yacht a very different character from a conventional 13-metre weekender. Owners can cover substantial coastal distances quickly while still benefiting from joystick control, dynamic positioning and modern helm assistance.

Fold-down wings expand the social space

The aft sides can open to increase usable deck area when the yacht is stopped, helping the boat feel wider than its 4.3-metre beam suggests. Wally also retains a hydraulic passerelle that doubles as a swim ladder despite the outboard installation.

These features turn the stern into a flexible social and swimming zone rather than allowing the engines to dominate the experience. The boat can therefore remain practical as a day yacht even with very high-output machinery mounted aft.

A proper berth keeps overnight use possible

Below deck, Wally provides a double berth, air conditioning and a bathroom with a separate walk-in shower. The accommodation is compact but sufficient for a couple who wants to remain aboard after a long day rather than return immediately to shore.

That overnight capability broadens the use case beyond superyacht tender duties. The 43X can function as an independent weekend boat, a resort shuttle or a fast companion yacht depending on how the owner chooses to use it.
