Three additions to a growing service map
Saxdor Yachts has announced three dealer partnerships that extend its reach through the north-eastern United States, Atlantic Canada and Bermuda. The appointments, disclosed on 2 November 2026, bring Yarmouth Boat Yard and Moose Landing Marina in Maine, Mahone Marine in Nova Scotia and PW Marine in Bermuda into the Finnish brand's sales and service network.
The announcement follows the start of Saxdor production in the United States and comes as the company expands into larger premium models. This is an operational development rather than another model launch. For owners, however, the availability of a capable local dealer can be as consequential as a yacht's original specification, because routine maintenance and after-sales help determine how readily it can be enjoyed.
Maine partnership connects coast and lakes
Yarmouth Boat Yard and Moose Landing Marina provide Saxdor with two distinct boating environments through one dealer group. The builder says the Yarmouth operation was established in 1948 and offers more than 100 slips with access to Casco Bay. Moose Landing, added in 2003, operates on Brandy Pond within the Sebago–Long Lake system.
That combination is relevant to an owner considering a versatile performance boat for varied waters. A coastal base exposes equipment and operating patterns to saltwater passages, while an inland marina brings different storage and seasonal service needs. Saxdor also identifies this partnership as the first Malibu Boats, Inc. dealer in the United States to represent its brand, linking its expansion to an established network.
A new Canadian presence in Mahone Bay
In Nova Scotia, Mahone Marine becomes Saxdor's appointed provincial dealer. The business is based in Mahone Bay on the province's South Shore and serves a boating area with access to the Atlantic and nearby cruising destinations. Saxdor highlights its local service operation and existing customer relationships as reasons for selecting the partner.
Mahone Marine is also a Mercury dealer, a relevant consideration for owners whose boats use Mercury propulsion. Sales representation without parts and servicing capacity has limited long-term value, particularly when customers travel between seasonal bases. A local maintenance and parts partner should make it simpler for owners to plan work without moving a yacht unnecessarily far from its usual berth.
Bermuda widens the Atlantic coverage
PW Marine is the newly appointed dealer in Bermuda, operating from Hamilton with the support of the wider Waterfront Group. Saxdor says the business has served the island's boating community for more than three decades and has sold over 300 boats. Its associated marina, storage and retail services create several potential points of contact for an owner.
The island presents a different boating geography from Maine or Nova Scotia. Local customers may use boats frequently in a relatively compact area, but island logistics make parts supply and dependable assistance especially important. The partnership is also part of Saxdor's wider Atlantic strategy, rather than evidence that any particular new model has already been delivered there.
Production is moving closer to customers
Saxdor's expansion is happening alongside production activity at Malibu Boats' Fort Pierce, Florida facility. The builder said in an earlier October announcement that its first US-built 320 GTO had been completed, with serial production under way and other models intended to follow. That initial production model sits below this publication's 12-metre luxury-yacht boundary, but the manufacturing investment supports the broader brand.
For the premium end of the range, the implication is an expanding support infrastructure rather than a confirmed change to every model's manufacturing location. Saxdor has not said that its 460-series yachts are already being produced in Florida. Readers considering larger models should distinguish the builder's confirmed current output from future production intentions and check the latest information at order time.
What this means for the 460 series
The Saxdor 460 GTC and open-air 460 GTS represent the brand's step into approximately 14.4-metre premium yachting. The 460 GTC has already featured in Saxdor's international show programme, while the builder has discussed further development of the platform. These yachts bring different expectations around commissioning, long-range service support and complex onboard equipment than the brand's smallest boats.
As buyers move into a larger size category, relationships with dealers and service technicians can become more involved. Electronics, propulsion integration, software and warranty coordination benefit from technicians familiar with a manufacturer's equipment choices. The three appointments do not in themselves guarantee model-specific availability, but they reinforce the commercial network on which an expanding luxury-yacht range depends.
MarineMax and the Malibu connection
Saxdor's company-level strategy also involves its long-standing US dealer MarineMax and the broader Malibu Boats group. The latest Maine partnership is specifically described as complementing MarineMax's presence in additional areas. This suggests a distribution plan that adds coverage where required while maintaining continuity with an existing major sales partner.
The important distinction for customers is between a network announcement and a promise that every individual retailer will stock or service every configuration. Owners should confirm model availability, training and warranty arrangements with the appointed business. The broader investment is nonetheless significant because a geographically diverse support map can reduce the practical friction of buying and maintaining a premium yacht.
A business development with ownership consequences
The latest appointments connect three very different boating markets: New England, Atlantic Canada and Bermuda. Saxdor's announcement centres on market access and customer support rather than sensational product claims, and it is strongest when judged in those terms. Each dealer's local infrastructure and experience matter because the ownership relationship continues long after a sale is completed.
With American production beginning and the larger 460 platform being developed, Saxdor is assembling the business systems that accompany physical products. Whether the new partnerships translate into improved owner experiences will be demonstrated through service delivery and customer confidence over time. For now, the verified development is the appointment of the three named dealer partners.
