Saxdor Yachts is presenting the new 460 GTS at its world premiere during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, adding an open interpretation to the flagship family introduced by the 460 GTC. The new model retains the core platform and performance philosophy of the 460 series while shifting the emphasis towards open-air movement, flexible social spaces and a stronger connection with the water.
The debut comes during a significant year for Saxdor, with the Finnish brand expanding its presence in the premium market and developing the 460 family into a more complete flagship range. At Cannes, the 460 GTS heads a five-model display that also includes the 400 GTS, 400 GTC, 340 GTWA and 320 GTO.
An open interpretation of the flagship platform
The 460 GTS is designed around an open walkaround layout rather than the enclosed wheelhouse approach of the 460 GTC. Saxdor has nevertheless incorporated optional sliding doors around the cockpit, allowing owners to introduce additional protection when conditions change without permanently closing the main social area.
Movement from bow to stern is central to the design, with a raised passage beside the helm intended to provide a clear route through the yacht. The arrangement keeps circulation away from the principal seating areas and allows guests to move between the different exterior zones without disrupting activity around the cockpit.
Folding terraces expand the social space
Both side terraces can be lowered to extend the usable deck over the water, giving the cockpit a significantly more open character at anchor. The transformation is reinforced by the aft platform and sliding openings, allowing the main deck to change from a protected underway configuration into a broad waterside entertaining area.
A sliding centre sofa is available to alter the function of the cockpit between sociable dining and forward-facing seating, while a large aft sunbed provides a dedicated lounging area closer to the water. These features give the yacht a degree of flexibility that goes beyond simply removing the enclosed superstructure of the GTC.
Three cabins broaden the cruising role
Below deck, Saxdor has retained the more substantial accommodation expected from the flagship family. The 460 GTS provides three cabins, with the forward accommodation benefiting from a separate shower and the aft cabin complemented by its own head.
Saxdor has also emphasised practical details intended to support longer stays aboard, including additional electrical outlets and improvements to materials, fit and finish. The result is an open yacht that remains capable of supporting weekend and extended coastal cruising rather than functioning only as a high-performance day boat.
Performance remains central to the Saxdor formula
The 460 GTS uses triple outboard propulsion with installations ranging from 900 to 1,275 horsepower. Saxdor publishes a maximum-speed range of 45 to 55 knots, while the twin-stepped deep-V hull is intended to combine efficiency and stability with the responsive handling that has become part of the brand's identity.
At the helm, owners can specify up to three 16-inch Simrad displays alongside redesigned seating and intuitive controls. The world premiere therefore brings together two themes that have defined Saxdor's recent development: increasingly substantial onboard accommodation and social space without abandoning the performance-led character on which the company built its early growth.
