Astondoa has confirmed that its new 577 Coupé has been nominated for European Powerboat of the Year 2026. A separate official update identifies it among the Best of Boats 2026 Big Boats nominees.
The Spanish yard made both announcements during the September Cannes Yachting Festival. They concern two nominations and should not be treated as confirmation that the yacht won either prize.
The new model measures 15.90 metres overall, placing it within Luxury Yacht Guide's defined market. Its French arrival was already reported separately, while this item covers subsequent recognition.
Two distinct award programmes
Astondoa announced the European Powerboat of the Year nomination on 8 September. The builder described the recognition as reflecting the yacht's design and craftsmanship.
On 10 September the yard also confirmed the Best of Boats nomination in the Big Boats category. Being selected for two programmes reflects interest from different award organisers rather than a single combined result.

Design details behind the nomination
The 577 Coupé has a V-shaped hull, a 4.61-metre beam and a published draft of 1.35 metres. Astondoa lists Volvo IPS 800 propulsion as standard, with three Mercury Verado V12 outboards as an alternative.
The aft deck incorporates a transformable beach-club area, integrated tender storage and a shading system. The shipyard also specifies two cabins beneath the main deck.
