KENAPI TEN, a 13.50-metre Island Gypsy 44 from 1989, has joined the sales fleet of Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage. The trawler-style motor yacht underwent a refit in 2025, and the listing offers an alternative for buyers looking beyond new production sports cruisers.
Designed and built by Kong & Halversen in China, the yacht retains a traditional profile and a practical galley-up interior layout. The current brokerage announcement places her in Villefranche-sur-Mer on the French Riviera, with accommodation for up to six guests across three cabins.
A refit focused on continued use
Work during 2025 included servicing the engines, painting the hull and installing a new Garmin autopilot and chartplotter. An osmosis treatment was undertaken earlier, in 2023, so prospective buyers should review the detailed records and a current survey rather than regard the refit date as covering every system.
The electrical package also received attention, with new 600Ah Victron lithium service batteries and updated charging and inverter equipment. Those changes matter on a cruising yacht where overnight hotel loads can determine how often an engine or generator has to run.
