Propspeed’s Foulfree Multi-Surface System is being positioned for Humphree fins and interceptors, giving builders and owners a coating developed for the non-metal surfaces and factory finishes used on modern stabilisation equipment.
Fins and interceptors work by producing controlled hydrodynamic forces, so marine growth can affect more than appearance. Extra roughness and drag may change how efficiently the surfaces respond and can add load to systems that operate continuously underway.

Propspeed has been expanding partnerships with manufacturers and builders, including Cranchi Yachts and other marine equipment specialists. Working directly with Humphree adds a stabilisation-system manufacturer to that network and provides another route into both new-build and refit projects.
For yacht owners, factory or manufacturer-supported compatibility can simplify maintenance decisions because the coating choice is aligned with the equipment supplier rather than being selected independently at each haul-out.
Performance still depends on correct preparation and operation
A foul-release coating cannot eliminate the need for inspection or proper application. Surface preparation, cure conditions, water quality and the yacht’s operating pattern all influence how long a coating remains effective.
