Fountaine Pajot says more than 600 visitors attended its 2026 Open Days in La Rochelle, where three new models were presented and the builder began celebrations for its 50th anniversary. The event ran from July 2 to 4 and combined yacht viewings, sea trials and factory access.

The FP48 and FP55 were shown alongside the new FPY70S, giving visitors an early look at products spanning the core sailing-catamaran and larger-yacht ranges. Owners, prospective buyers, dealers, partners and journalists also toured production facilities around La Rochelle.

Why this matters in the luxury-yacht market

Builder-run open days offer a different buying environment from the large international shows. They allow customers to compare models while also seeing manufacturing processes and speaking directly with engineering, sales and after-sales teams.

For Fountaine Pajot, the turnout also provides a measure of owner and buyer engagement at the start of an anniversary year. The company used the event to introduce a partner village and expand the programme beyond boat inspections alone.

What comes next

The Open Days now sit alongside Cannes and other major shows in the builder’s customer calendar. The 2026 attendance gives Fountaine Pajot a strong base from which to develop the format during its 50th-anniversary programme.
