A second 7-Series model enters the show spotlight
Everglades says the 437CX is the larger successor to the 367CX within its crossover 7-Series and will be part of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show programme from 28 October to 1 November 2026. The central proposition is that a substantial owner-operated boat need not force a choice between a fishing day and a more sociable coastal outing.
Rather than market the 437CX solely as an offshore fishing machine or a floating lounge, the builder describes it as a platform intended to change character with the outing. The announcement does not publish a full specification for the new boat, so capacity, machinery and precise dimensions should be checked against its individual builder datasheet.
The previous 367CX explains the design direction
The 367CX was introduced at the 2025 Palm Beach International Boat Show and later received Boating magazine's Dayboat of the Year recognition. Everglades points to that model's rotating second-row seating, climate-controlled helm space, berth, galley and enclosed head as evidence of how the crossover concept works in practice.
Those features belong to the earlier 367CX rather than an independently confirmed specification for the new 437CX. Their significance is in demonstrating the design priorities being extended: sheltered command, flexible social seating and a degree of overnight practicality even when the vessel's principal use is day boating.
Offshore construction cannot be judged from the cushions
Everglades highlights the RAMCAP construction process in its wider range, using high-density foam within the hull structure, together with wood-free construction and design choices intended for use beyond sheltered water. Such engineering considerations matter when owners expect a single boat to handle offshore passages as well as relaxed afternoons at anchor.
Buyers stepping aboard the larger crossover should examine the available technical documentation, hull form, operating limits and actual stowage rather than assume that every specification is identical to the smaller 367CX. Details such as secure movement between helm and cockpit can become more important than decorative fittings once conditions deteriorate.
The practical questions for 12-to-24-metre owners
The 437CX belongs to the part of the market where a boat can be substantial yet directly operated by its owner, rather than dependent on a superyacht-style crew structure. A show visit is a good opportunity to understand sightlines, the movement of guests between cockpit and helm, and whether the layout works for more than one type of day.
Everglades' original 7 October release establishes the 437CX's Fort Lauderdale appearance and its position as the second 7-Series model. The company has not supplied a final equipment or pricing schedule in the cited statement, so publication of unverified horsepower, speed or inventory claims would be premature.
