A47 develops the architecture introduced by the A46
Cranchi Yachts has previewed the A47 as the next development in its Aria range. The project grows from the A46 concept created with designer Christian Grande while introducing a new stern, cockpit and full-width T-top arrangement.
The hardtop uses adjustable louvres, integrated lighting and audio equipment to create more usable shade over the central guest area. Walkaround side decks connect the cockpit, helm and foredeck while keeping movement around the boat straightforward.
Fold-down bulwarks expand the aft living area
The cockpit uses a large sunpad and fold-down side sections to create terraces over the water. Together with the movable bathing platform, the arrangement increases the usable beam at anchor without permanently increasing the yacht’s marina footprint.
Below the aft sunpad, a garage is designed to carry a tender of up to approximately two metres. The lower deck includes a separate owner’s cabin, a second cabin with two berths and a bathroom.
Twin IPS propulsion supports the crossover brief
Power is planned around twin Volvo Penta IPS D6 units rated at 480hp each. The combination is intended to support manoeuvrability and efficient cruising while preserving the open-deck character that defines the Aria range.
The A47 remains a project rather than a completed production yacht, so final specifications may continue to evolve. Its development nevertheless shows Cranchi extending the design language of the A46 into a platform with greater outdoor flexibility and a more substantial cruising layout.
