Gozzo 42 fills a key gap in the Apreamare range

Apreamare says the new Gozzo 42 is attracting strong demand from owners looking to move up from the smaller Gozzo 35. The model sits between the 35 and 45 in the yard’s open walkaround range and was presented to Italian customers during the 2026 Genoa International Boat Show.

Sales director Giovanni Aprea describes the target customer as an experienced owner who often prefers to operate the yacht personally rather than rely on permanent crew. That profile shapes the emphasis on manageable size, practical circulation and understated styling across the range.

Barcelona return supports renewed Spanish-market investment

Apreamare is also returning to the Barcelona Boat Show with the Gozzo 42 and Gozzo 35. Spain has historically been an important market for the Sorrento yard, supported by a long-standing relationship with local dealer Island Yachts Broker.

The company continues to view international boat shows as important sales platforms despite wider debate over exhibition costs. Apreamare expects Barcelona to generate both commercial opportunities and stronger contact with owners who may not attend Cannes or Genoa.

Annual model launches continue into 2027

The yard says it has launched one new model in each of the past five years and intends to maintain its development pace. Details of the next project remain confidential, but management has indicated that further product news is planned for 2027.

The strategy combines incremental range expansion with investment in younger designers and staff. For Apreamare, the challenge is to keep the traditional Gozzo identity recognisable while updating layouts and technology for owners comparing the brand with a growing field of premium Mediterranean walkaround yachts.
