New Zealand marine-equipment developer Anura is bringing its amphibious drive range to IBEX 2026 for its first US trade-show appearance, including the larger S75 system intended for craft of approximately 12–13 metres. That upper range brings the company into the lower end of Luxury Yacht Guide's yacht-size remit.
Anura's equipment gives a properly designed craft retractable wheels for land-to-water movement rather than requiring an ordinary launch ramp. It is a specialist integration project, not a claim that every hull of a similar length can be retrofitted.
The range reaches larger craft
Anura describes an S75 high-power system with an indicative hull-size band of 12–13 metres and a maximum gross vehicle mass range up to approximately eight tonnes. The company notes that hull-length ranges are nominal and actual compatibility is application dependent.
Its range also covers smaller recreational, commercial and rescue craft, with different wheel arrangements and power units. LYG focuses on the S75's verified overlap with the 12.00–23.99-metre yacht segment rather than presenting the smaller systems as LYG yacht models.
Wheel systems need proper integration
An amphibious package adds structure, weight, actuation equipment and controls to the craft. A builder must account for those components in the hull design and ensure access for inspection and maintenance.
The system may offer useful shore access where slips or ramps are limited, but tides, slope, seabed and local permissions determine whether any particular landing is safe. It cannot be marketed as unrestricted beach access.
A North American trade debut
The company's supplied event release identifies IBEX at Tampa Convention Center on 6–8 October as its first US trade-show presentation. It plans to show hardware and discuss configurations with designers and manufacturers.
Anura's product catalogue labels the S75 as expected to become available in July 2027, so this is a preview and not confirmation of present retail delivery. Owners should ask for current specification, commercial timing and regional support before considering it for a new build.
