A centenary collection
BMW M and BMW Motorrad have presented a joint 100 Jahre Nürburgring anniversary edition ahead of the circuit’s 2027 centenary. The collection comprises six cars and three high-performance motorcycles.
The circuit originally opened in June 1927, providing the anniversary reference. These are edition models rather than nine unrelated racing debuts.
Six BMW M cars
The car lineup comprises M2, M3 Sedan, M3 Touring, M4 Coupé, M5 Sedan and M5 Touring. BMW says the collection draws on its current M engineering and specific visual details.
The two inline-six-cylinder models and larger cars have distinct mechanical specifications. A shared edition badge should not imply identical performance or equipment.
Three Motorrad models
The two-wheeled part of the programme includes the M 1000 RR, M 1000 R and M 1000 XR. All nine models share a historic Nürburgring Green visual theme with additional model-specific elements.
The colour and trim link the machines to the circuit’s history. Motorcycle and car delivery arrangements need to be checked separately with the appropriate dealers.
A collector-focused release
The edition connects BMW’s road-going performance range to decades of work at the Nürburgring. It can appeal to collectors interested in motorsport heritage as well as vehicle specification.
