Henri-Lloyd's Spring/Summer 2026 campaign is staged aboard a Spirit 68 in Mallorca rather than against a studio backdrop. Sailor and adventurer James Aiken joins chef and food writer Gill Meller for a journey from Palma to a quiet beach, bringing practical clothing into a sailing and outdoor-cooking story.
An actual boat as the setting
The official April release describes movement between sailing, anchoring and preparing food beside the water. The Spirit 68 is the setting for the campaign and should not be confused with a new model announcement from its builder.
A 20-metre sailing yacht provides a natural connection to the LYG audience, while the collection is meant for a much wider group of travellers. The brand has not presented this campaign as a technical test of that specific yacht.
Technical pieces for variable weather
The Viking Smock uses a PFAS-free C0 durable water-repellent treatment intended for wind and light showers. The Mav Lite 2.0 is described as a technical waterproof jacket that also works as everyday outerwear.
These garments have distinct roles, and a light shell should not be assumed to provide the same protection as certified offshore foul-weather kit. The correct layer depends on itinerary and conditions.
Marine Classics away from the cockpit
The Voyager Rugby takes a heritage silhouette in 320gsm organic cotton, while the Falmouth Polo, Fast Dri Polo and Freemantle Shorts add lighter everyday options. Henri-Lloyd’s campaign aims for garments that can move between boat, beach and town.
For guests travelling with limited luggage, versatile shapes and fabric care are useful considerations. An owner should still choose clothing around the crew's workwear needs rather than apply a fashion collection as a uniform.
An editorial snapshot, not a new September launch
SS26 launched in April, and the collection is reviewed here as a seasonal wardrobe feature. Sizes, colours and availability must be checked against the brand's current shop.
