Smartgyro is expanding its United States support network through a new partnership with All Points Boats in the Lauderdale Marine District. All Points Boats becomes an authorised dealer, installer and service provider for the full Smartgyro stabiliser range in South Florida.

All Points Boats is not being positioned simply as a reseller. The company will handle engineering, fabrication, foundations, installation and aftersales support, giving customers one local route from equipment selection through commissioning.

The partnership adds installation as well as sales

That matters with gyro stabilisers because successful retrofits depend heavily on structural foundations, access, electrical supply, cooling and service clearances rather than the stabiliser unit alone.

A class-certified fabrication background supports refit work

Founded in 1996, All Points Boats has experience in marine fabrication, refit and engineering. Smartgyro highlights the company’s class-certified fabrication capability as a reason for selecting it as a South Florida partner.

For yacht owners considering a retrofit, engineering competence at the installation yard can be as important as the stabiliser specification, particularly where access requires disassembly or structural changes.

South Florida remains a major service market

The Lauderdale Marine District is one of the most concentrated yacht service hubs in the United States. Establishing an authorised installer there gives Smartgyro closer access to owners, brokers, yards and captains operating through Fort Lauderdale and the wider Florida market.

Local support also reduces the practical friction around warranty work and scheduled servicing, both of which influence whole-life ownership costs for gyro systems.

The full Smartgyro range will be supported

All Points Boats will have access to Smartgyro’s full recreational stabiliser lineup, which is designed around modular construction and serviceability. The systems can be disassembled for access, an advantage when retrofitting yachts with narrow machinery-space openings.

The new relationship therefore strengthens Smartgyro’s ability to compete not only for new-build installations but for existing yachts whose owners want to add roll reduction without undertaking a major rebuild. In a market where many yachts change ownership after several seasons, that retrofit capability can materially broaden the number of vessels able to adopt active roll reduction.
