Regulator adds two Florida sales partners
Regulator Marine has expanded its Florida dealer network with the appointment of The Ships Chandler in Destin and Sand N Sea Marine in Stuart. The Edenton, North Carolina, builder announced the additions as 2027 model-year boats began reaching retail locations, giving the brand a stronger presence on both the Panhandle and the Atlantic Treasure Coast.
Florida's boating market encompasses very different operating conditions, from the Gulf Coast's offshore fishing grounds to the Atlantic coast's fast-changing inlets and crossings toward the Bahamas. Establishing experienced local dealers is therefore an important part of serving owners who need relevant rigging advice, commissioning assistance and dependable follow-up support.
The two dealers cover different cruising areas
The Ships Chandler serves Destin and the northwest Florida coast, an area known for fishing and boating activity in the Gulf of Mexico. Sand N Sea Marine operates in Stuart on the Treasure Coast, where owners regularly navigate the St Lucie Inlet and connect with a large network of nearby marinas, repair yards and marine service companies.
The new appointments provide additional points of contact for buyers, rather than representing two wholly new shipyards or a change in Regulator's manufacturing location. For prospective owners, the important issue is whether local sales teams can also support warranty claims, recommended maintenance and the practical commissioning of complex electronics and outboard installations.
How the larger 41 fits the premium-boat market
Regulator's range extends up to the Regulator 41, a high-end offshore centre-console model measuring 41 feet 3 inches, or approximately 12.6 metres, before the additional length of engine brackets and outboards. It is relevant to the lower end of Luxury Yacht Guide's market because of its substantial size, onboard amenities and demanding technical specification.
The 41's published features include quad Yamaha 450hp outboards, Helm Master EX electronic controls, a Seakeeper stabilisation system and accommodation comprising a berth, galley and enclosed head with shower. Exact configuration and equipment can differ by model year. Owners should compare the boat's actual length with engines, fuel consumption, deck layout and mooring needs against the marina facilities they expect to use.
What better dealer coverage might deliver
Premium outboard boats need more than an attractive initial sale. Their operations require diagnostic capability, electronics integration, corrosion control and an understanding of the manufacturer's maintenance schedule. Access to authorised engine service is particularly important when multiple outboards must be managed as one propulsion package.
A broad retail network may improve the availability of demonstrator boats and specialist advice, but geographical presence alone cannot guarantee short service appointments or locally stocked parts for every configuration. Regulator's dealer expansion will be judged by practical support, especially after the purchase, when owners are travelling between Florida ports.
An announcement about distribution, not a new hull
Regulator Vice President of Sales and Marketing Keith Ammons described Florida as a diverse boating market and emphasised the importance of dealers who share the company's expectations of quality and service. Both newly appointed dealerships have begun stocking 2027 model-year boats, creating immediate opportunities for customer viewings and enquiries.
The accompanying official manufacturer photograph is of the Regulator 41, used to illustrate the larger model within the current range. It is not an image of the newly appointed dealerships and does not imply that a specific Regulator 41 has been delivered through either location. The verified news is the appointment of two sales partners and the resulting change in market coverage.
