PRESTIGE has hosted journalists from 11 countries at Portopiccolo in Italy for dedicated sea trials of the new F4.3 and M7. The programme gave the international press time aboard both models before the yachts continue through the autumn boat-show calendar.

The two yachts represent different parts of the PRESTIGE range but remain firmly within the 12-to-23.99-metre market. The F4.3 measures 13.07 metres overall, while the M7 extends the brand's multihull programme into a larger owner-focused format.

F4.3 broadens the new-generation F-Line

The F4.3 is the newest entry point into PRESTIGE's current F-Line generation and uses a flybridge layout intended to maximise social space at a manageable size. Official specifications list twin Volvo Penta D6-440 engines, a 30-knot maximum speed and accommodation arranged around a 4.1-metre beam.

At Portopiccolo, the press programme focused on allowing journalists to experience the yacht under way rather than viewing it only as a static show model. That provides a useful bridge between its product launch and its wider introduction to prospective buyers.

M7 adds a larger multihull proposition

The M7 sits within PRESTIGE's M-Line of power catamarans and follows the brand's strategy of using multihull beam to create residential-style volume. Its inclusion alongside the F4.3 allowed direct comparison between a conventional flybridge motor yacht and the company's multihull approach.

PRESTIGE has increasingly used the M-Line to target owners who value interior volume and long-stay comfort as much as outright speed. The Italian media event therefore presented two distinct routes into the same premium cruising market.

Autumn show programme follows the sea trials

Both the F4.3 and M7 are scheduled for display at the Genoa Boat Show. The F4.3 is also due at Grand Pavois in La Rochelle, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and the Paris Nautic Show.

That schedule gives PRESTIGE repeated exposure across European and North American markets after the dedicated press trials. It also means potential buyers will have several opportunities to compare the new F4.3 with other yachts in the 13-metre flybridge segment.

Press trials add real-world context

Sea-trial programmes can reveal characteristics that are difficult to judge from brochures or static displays, including visibility, helm ergonomics, noise, acceleration and movement through the interior while under way. For new production yachts, those details often shape early market reaction as much as styling.

PRESTIGE's Portopiccolo event therefore serves as more than a media preview. It marks the transition of the F4.3 and M7 from launch announcements into models being tested, compared and presented across the main autumn sales circuit.
