One Lagoon 38 arrives with a detailed inventory specification
The Multihull Company is preparing to show its 2026 Lagoon 38 Owner's Version, Hull 66, during the Annapolis Sailboat Show from October 15 to 18. Unlike a generic factory demonstration yacht, the boat has been identified by hull number and is being presented with a detailed equipment list and a published stock asking price.
The broker says the yacht arrived from the factory in summer 2026 and has been commissioned for cruising. Its show appearance is intended to give prospective owners a chance to inspect how the new Lagoon 38 platform can be configured for time away from port.
The sales listing includes a significant qualification: Hull 66 is not for sale to US residents in US waters, according to the brokerage's own notice. Anyone interested in purchasing must therefore seek clarification of the applicable eligibility, location and documentation requirements rather than treating the quoted price as a universal American retail offer.
An Owner's Version intended for extended cruising
The listed layout has three cabins and two heads, with one hull devoted to the owner's accommodation. A private desk, separate shower and space for belongings are intended to support people who spend weeks aboard and want to work or manage daily life without always relying on marina facilities.
The Lagoon 38 is positioned as the successor to the widely used Lagoon 380. Its current hull form places a priority on saloon brightness, access to a sheltered cockpit and stern platforms that make boarding or swimming more straightforward.
The model is part of the compact cruising-catamaran segment, where a vessel's width influences both accommodation and berth selection. A couple planning a long-term itinerary should consider the ease of moving around the cockpit and deck under way alongside the comfort of the principal cabin.
Power and navigation equipment set this hull apart
The brokerage specifies 1,420 watts of solar panels, a 6.5 kVA Mase generator, a watermaker producing around 60 litres per hour and reverse-cycle air conditioning in the hulls. These are features of this individual yacht's package rather than an assertion that every factory-standard Lagoon 38 is equipped identically.
Navigation equipment includes a Raymarine Axiom Pro display, separate sailing instruments, autopilot, radar and an AIS transceiver. The sail plan comprises a square-top mainsail, a self-tacking jib and a Code 0 carried on a furler, giving the operator several choices for different wind conditions.
Twin Yanmar 3YM30AE diesel saildrives are also listed. Fuel economy and motoring range depend on the chosen speed and sea conditions, so published equipment descriptions should be supported by real engine records and suitable sea trials.
The presence of solar panels, a generator and a watermaker is useful to a cruiser planning longer stays at anchor. Nevertheless, daily independence depends on battery storage, actual appliance loads, generator maintenance and the amount of fresh water consumed by the people aboard.
Understanding the brokerage offer and show opportunities
The Multihull Company has advertised Hull 66 at US$669,000, comparing it with an approximate US$695,321 factory order configured with similar options. The broker calculated that difference using a stated euro-dollar conversion and factory pricing dated May 2026, so it should be read as a time-specific commercial comparison, not an independently audited market valuation.
Prices, stock status and availability can change during and after a show, while taxes and import conditions may materially affect a transaction. Prospective buyers should request a current written offer and confirm the brokerage's restriction concerning sale to US residents in US waters.
At Annapolis the boat is expected under the Multihull Company's red tent at City Dock, near a Nautitech 44 Open. That arrangement provides a practical way to compare accommodation, helm visibility and handling arrangements without relying entirely on printed specifications.
