Galati Yacht Sales has launched Yacht Offer, an online marketplace designed to give qualified yacht buyers a more transparent way to participate in competitive sale events. Buyers can review vessel information, submit offers during a defined period and adjust those offers while the event remains open.
The platform is not intended to replace conventional brokerage. Galati says brokers continue to support market analysis, buyer qualification, negotiations, documentation and closing while the online system adds a structured bidding environment.
Qualified buyers can follow live activity
Prospective buyers register and complete a qualification process before joining a live offer event. Once approved, they can see competitive activity, submit an offer and revise it before the event closes, while selected yachts may also carry a Buy Now option.
That approach gives buyers more visibility than the traditional process in which offers may be negotiated separately and privately. It also gives sellers a defined window that can concentrate attention around a yacht rather than leaving a listing open indefinitely.
Sellers still receive brokerage support
Galati says its team handles the commercial work around each Yacht Offer event, including market analysis, promotion, qualification and transaction support. The digital process therefore sits inside an established brokerage structure rather than operating as an unmanaged auction site.
That distinction matters for yacht transactions because inspections, surveys, title checks and closing documentation remain necessary even when the offer itself is submitted online. The platform changes how interest is organised, not the due diligence required to complete a sale.
Digital buying behaviour reaches yacht brokerage
High-value buyers increasingly expect detailed information and the ability to act online, even when a purchase still requires specialist advice. Yacht Offer applies that behaviour to brokerage by combining a digital dashboard with human support from Galati's sales team.
The model may be especially relevant to production yachts where comparable models and market prices are easier to establish. It could also help sellers create urgency when a yacht has already spent time on the market.
Transparency becomes part of the sales proposition
Galati is using the platform to offer another route to market rather than presenting it as the only way to buy or sell a yacht. Traditional negotiated brokerage remains available for clients who prefer a private transaction process.
For LYG buyers, the significance is the growing range of digital tools around yacht ownership. Search, valuation and listing technology have developed quickly, and Yacht Offer extends that change into the offer and negotiation stage itself.
