Two recent world premieres move on to Spain
The FP48 and FP55 arrive in Barcelona only weeks after Fountaine Pajot presented them internationally in Cannes. Their Spanish show debuts keep both models in front of Mediterranean buyers while interest from the initial launch period is still fresh.
That rapid show schedule is useful for owners who could not attend Cannes or who want a second chance to inspect the boats in a less launch-focused environment. Barcelona also places the new models beside established sister ships for direct comparison.
The FP48 targets owners around the 14-metre mark
The FP48 measures 14.43 metres in hull length and is designed around comfortable private cruising with three- or four-cabin layouts. A large owner-focused arrangement can dedicate the port hull to a suite, while the main deck links cockpit, saloon and galley into a connected social space.
This size band is particularly competitive because buyers expect substantial multihull volume without the operating demands of a larger yacht. The FP48's role in Barcelona is therefore to show how much comfort Fountaine Pajot can deliver while remaining in a manageable owner-operated format.
The FP55 offers a larger step upward
The FP55 adds more accommodation and exterior space while remaining below 24 metres, giving buyers another option before moving into the Fountaine Pajot Yachts range. It is aimed at longer-range owners who want greater separation between guest areas, crew functions and private accommodation.
Placing the FP55 beside the FP48 should make the value of that extra size easier to judge. Buyers can compare deck circulation, privacy and social space directly instead of deciding from renderings, brochures or isolated dealer visits.
Established models complete the context
Fountaine Pajot will also show the FP41, FP44 and FPY59S in Barcelona, turning the stand into a broad cross-section of its current sailing portfolio. Those additional models give the two new launches useful context at both smaller and larger ends of the range.
The Barcelona International Boat Show runs from 14 to 18 October 2026 at Port Vell. Fountaine Pajot's international dealer network will be present throughout the event to arrange viewings and discuss specifications with prospective owners.
