A 14.90-metre model for Bodrum
Absolute Yachts has confirmed the 48 Coupé for the Bodrum Boat Show from 14 to 18 October 2026. The 14.90-metre yacht will be displayed with local partner Sea Marine Group, giving Turkish buyers direct access to one of Absolute's sportier owner-operated models.
The event takes place at Bodrum Marina, close to some of Turkey's most popular cruising grounds. That makes the show a relevant setting for a yacht designed around open-air living, flexible cockpit use and easy movement between interior and exterior spaces.
The cockpit is designed as a terrace
Opening gunwales and glazed balustrades turn the aft cockpit into a broad terrace close to the water. Absolute keeps fixed furniture to a minimum so owners can adapt the space for dining, relaxation or social use according to the day and the number of guests aboard.
That flexibility is particularly useful in Mediterranean cruising, where the cockpit may function as the main living area for much of the season. The layout also reduces visual barriers, creating a stronger connection with the water without requiring a much larger overall yacht.
Solar panels add useful energy at anchor
A transparent solar panel system is integrated into the roof above the main saloon, generating electricity while still allowing light into the interior. Absolute positions the feature as a way to improve autonomy and reduce generator use during time spent at anchor.
The main deck also uses panoramic glazing and electrically opening windows to improve natural ventilation. Combined with the aft galley and elevated seating, the arrangement is intended to make the saloon feel connected to the cockpit rather than separated from it.
Three cabins keep the yacht practical for cruising
Below deck, the 48 Coupé provides a forward owner's cabin, an amidships VIP cabin and a twin guest cabin. The 4.52-metre beam helps create useful accommodation while the Volvo Penta IPS propulsion keeps manoeuvring straightforward for an owner or small crew.
Bodrum visitors will be able to compare that layout directly with the larger Navetta 52 on the same stand. The five-day show should therefore help buyers decide whether the more open, sporty 48 Coupé matches their cruising style or whether they want the extra volume of a flybridge yacht.
