A new MGallery Collection hotel has opened beside the Aegean at the entrance to Vathy on the Greek island of Samos. Nírema Hotel & Spa Samos brings 72 rooms to a coastal location framed by the Ampelos mountains.
Accor positions the property as a slower-paced island retreat rooted in local landscape, wine and heritage. The hotel is managed by SWOT Hospitality Management and adds another Greek property to MGallery's growing portfolio.
Eight suites with private pools
The hotel offers panoramic views of Vathy Bay and the Aegean from its accommodation, with eight suites containing private pools and terraces. A private beachfront area is reserved for hotel guests.
These additions create an option for travellers who want time by the sea without depending entirely on shared facilities. Availability should be confirmed by room category, as not every one of the 72 rooms has its own pool.
Samos wine comes into the design
The property sits near the Samos Wine Museum and uses the island's Muscat grape as a central reference for its cellar. Tastings, food pairings and local stories form part of the guest programme.
Its signature M Moment is called The Cup of Pythagoras, a Samian wine ritual. That reference connects the hotel's contemporary style with the island's philosophical and viticultural traditions.
Aegean dining and wellness
A sea-view à la carte restaurant and a pool bar serve the resort's dining programme, with mixology joining the local wine focus. The spa draws on island natural elements and offers a more contemplative approach to wellbeing.
A fitness centre and outdoor pool supplement the spa and beach facilities. Guests should ask for the current treatment list and restaurant opening schedule, particularly around the shoulder season.
An alternative Greek island itinerary
Samos combines a coast-facing hotel with mountain landscape and a wine-producing identity distinct from the Cyclades. The hotel can therefore provide another Aegean stop for travellers exploring several islands.
Accor's September release confirms the new opening but does not establish the operating schedule of every advertised experience. A tailored reservation should distinguish confirmed facilities from those that require advance arrangement.
