A title after the Monza finale
Chester Kieffer won the 2026 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup rookie classification at the season-ending round in Monza. The twenty-year-old Luxembourg driver raced for Schumacher CLRT.
The team also secured the overall drivers’ and teams’ titles, giving the organisation a three-title season. Each classification recognises a different competition.
A shortened final race
The Monza race was stopped after midfield collisions and barrier repairs prevented the event restarting in its allocated time. Andrea Bristot was classified the race winner using the order after the first lap.
Kieffer’s sixth place was sufficient for the rookie result. A shortened finale still formed part of the official championship classification under the series rules.
Schuring’s wider result
Porsche Junior Flynt Schuring had secured the overall title earlier at Zandvoort and became the series’ youngest champion. Robert de Haan completed the season second in the drivers’ standings.
The result underlines the distinction between the overall and newcomer classifications. It does not predict the future professional careers of the drivers.

The one-make series uses Porsche 911 Cup competition cars and forms part of the manufacturer’s international racing ecosystem. For collectors and enthusiasts, it offers an opportunity to understand a racing counterpart to the road-going sports car.
