A new room above the city
Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou has unveiled a refreshed Atrium on its 70th floor, presenting the venue as a place to spend time throughout the day rather than simply arrive for a meal. The new design is by AB Concept and draws on the courtyard gardens of Lingnan architecture, a distinctly local reference for a hotel set high above the city.
From this height the Pearl River and Canton Tower become part of the experience, changing with daylight and evening illumination. The hotel announced the completed refresh on 25 September 2026, so the news is about an updated venue rather than a future opening.
Three spaces within one destination
The design centres on a Pond Garden in the lobby and divides the wider Atrium into Panorama Garden, Sky Library and River Glow. The spaces are intended to create different moods for guests seeking conversation, dining or a quieter pause, while remaining connected within the same destination.
AB Concept uses bronze, marble and translucent glass to refer to traditional garden sensibilities without recreating an old building. For a visitor, the arrangement gives the room variety over a long afternoon, especially as the city views shift around it.
From breakfast to evening drinks
The venue runs from breakfast and afternoon gatherings through sunset drinks and dinner, combining international selections with regional Chinese influences. The hotel highlights dishes including Turkish eggs, an Everything Bagel and French toast in its morning offering, illustrating the range rather than a single-theme restaurant.
An all-day operation allows travellers to choose the part of the day that suits their schedule instead of treating the rooftop venue as an evening-only reservation. Menus and opening times remain details to confirm directly with the hotel, especially during events or busy travel dates.
Another way to experience Guangzhou
The updated Atrium provides a new design-and-dining address for those combining a city visit with the wider Pearl River Delta. It is a shoreside hospitality story, not a claim that the hotel's tower offers marina facilities or direct yacht access.
A visit can still form part of a luxury-yacht itinerary when berthing, transfers and travel time are arranged separately. The official release and attached venue photographs provide a specific look at the redesigned room rather than a generic skyline image.
