The Sunreef ULTIMA 44 is the smallest model in the ULTIMA family covered by Luxury Yacht Guide. At 13.72 metres, it brings the range's low-profile power-catamaran concept into a size suited to day use, weekends aboard and fast coastal cruising. Sunreef positions the ULTIMA series as a bridge between the spaciousness and stability of a multihull and the more dynamic appearance and performance traditionally associated with a sports monohull.
Low profile, wide usable space
The ULTIMA concept uses a comparatively sleek superstructure and an aft layout designed to open toward the water. Folding side platforms increase usable outdoor space at anchor and create a broader waterside area without permanently increasing the yacht's cruising beam. On the 44, that philosophy is particularly significant because it allows a relatively compact hull length to support a much larger social platform when the yacht is stationary.

Across the ULTIMA family, Sunreef offers conventional high-output propulsion as well as hybrid-oriented solutions, with solar and battery technology forming part of the wider sustainability strategy. The smaller ULTIMA models are particularly suited to owners prioritising day and weekend use, but specification remains highly configurable. Buyers should compare the exact propulsion, accommodation and energy package of a proposed build rather than assuming all ULTIMA 44 yachts will be identical.
