The FLIBS display focuses on hybrid cruising systems
Xquisite is using the Fort Lauderdale appearance to highlight the SIXTY SOLAR POWER’s advanced hybrid propulsion package, solar integration and onboard energy-management system. The yacht is designed around quiet operation and reduced reliance on conventional generator use, particularly while anchored or operating at lower loads.
For buyers, seeing the propulsion and energy systems in a finished yacht is valuable because hybrid performance depends on more than headline battery or solar figures. Installation quality, control logic, charging strategy and the way domestic loads interact with propulsion all influence the ownership experience.
Eight kilowatts of solar support the onboard energy system
Xquisite lists an 8 kW solar array as part of the SIXTY SOLAR POWER concept. On a broad power-catamaran roof, that gives the yacht enough panel area to make solar generation a meaningful part of everyday energy management rather than a token supplementary source.
Solar output still varies with weather, shading and latitude, but the wide deckhouse and hardtop area available on a multihull gives designers more flexibility than on many monohulls. The result can reduce generator running for hotel loads and support longer periods away from shore power.
The 18.98-metre platform stays within the LYG sector
The SIXTY SOLAR POWER measures 18.98 metres overall with an 8.125-metre beam and a 1.15-metre draft. Lightship displacement is listed at about 42 tonnes, and the yacht carries nearly 6,000 litres of fuel for extended cruising.
Those figures place the model at the substantial end of private power-catamaran ownership while remaining comfortably below the 24-metre LYG threshold. The beam creates very large living spaces, but owners also need to consider berth availability and marina pricing when operating a catamaran of this width.
Fort Lauderdale gives US buyers direct access to the model
The 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show runs from October 28 to November 1. Xquisite will display the yacht at Hall of Fame Marina South, Dock G-719, with private onboard appointments available throughout the show.
For North American buyers comparing long-range power catamarans, the appearance provides an opportunity to inspect the hybrid machinery, layout and energy systems directly. It also gives Xquisite a strong platform to position the SIXTY SOLAR POWER alongside more conventional diesel-powered luxury yachts in the same size band.
