September gives Wajer a deliberately international stage
Wajer's calendar covers five events in five countries, starting at HISWA te Water and continuing through Mediterranean and Atlantic stops. The programme gives the builder repeated opportunities to put its boats in front of owners who use them in very different cruising environments.
That matters for the 44 S because the design is intended to work as more than a local day boat. The same platform can serve warm-water social use, superyacht tender duties and fast coastal transport across several ownership markets.
The centre-console layout keeps the deck active
The 44 S uses an open centre-console arrangement with weather protection around the helm and clear circulation around the social areas. Wajer also integrates sun protection, concealed anchoring, hydraulic boarding and practical storage into the deck plan.
Below deck, a double berth, galley and bathroom allow the boat to support overnight use when required. This creates a useful bridge between pure day-boating and the more enclosed cruising yachts found higher in the market.
Owners can choose inboard or outboard character
Wajer offers Volvo Penta IPS power as well as a high-output Mercury outboard configuration on the 44 S. The inboard installation is listed with speeds up to 38 knots, while the outboard version can move beyond 50 knots with the higher-output package.
Those two approaches create noticeably different personalities within the same model family. Buyers can prioritise a cleaner transom and familiar pod handling or choose the visual drama and acceleration of large outboards.
The model remains central to Wajer's current range
The 44 S sits between the smaller Wajer 38 family and the larger 55 range, giving the company a strong product in the 13-metre performance-luxury sector. Its continued event exposure shows the builder is treating it as a core model rather than a niche derivative.
