Southampton International Boat Show has announced an eight-day edition for 18–25 September 2027, with Fairline, Princess Yachts and Sunseeker confirming their return. The change was unveiled as the 2026 exhibition closed and puts a shorter UK autumn show on the calendar for owners and exhibitors.
The Saturday-to-Saturday programme retains three weekend trading days despite trimming the overall duration. British Marine says the decision follows exhibitor feedback and sits within a longer-term arrangement to host the show at Mayflower Park.
A shorter show calendar
The 2026 exhibition ran for ten days, so the 2027 timetable changes how manufacturers can arrange viewings, hospitality and sea-trial conversations. Concentrating visits into eight days may also change the pattern of footfall, although next year's actual attendance is not yet known.
British Marine has secured the Mayflower Park venue for a further three years. The continuity gives exhibitors a known location for berth planning and gives buyers time to organise their autumn visits.
British manufacturers confirm their return
Fairline, Princess Yachts and Sunseeker are named as returning participants. These builders offer production motor yachts within Luxury Yacht Guide's 12.00–23.99-metre sector, but the individual eligible models for the 2027 event have not yet been announced.
Fairline has indicated that a new British debut will feature in its planned display. The model and its final principal dimensions have not been identified in the announcement, so no specifications are being inferred.
What owners should watch
The announced dates are Saturday 18 to Saturday 25 September 2027, rather than the 2026 show dates. Exhibitors have been offered an early-booking arrangement tied to a November 2026 commitment deadline.
Buyers should monitor the confirmed in-water fleet and arrange visits after builders publish actual yacht lists. LYG will report individual yachts only when their verified overall length falls below 24.00 metres.
