British Marine has confirmed an eight-day format for the 2027 Southampton International Boat Show, scheduled for 18–25 September at Mayflower Park. Fairline, Princess Yachts and Sunseeker have committed to attend, providing an early indication of builder participation rather than a final model-by-model display list.

An eight-day September programme

The Saturday-to-Saturday plan is shorter than the previous ten-day format but preserves three weekend trading days. British Marine says feedback from exhibitors contributed to the change, with visitor activity and commercial meetings concentrated into a tighter schedule.

For buyers comparing production motor yachts between 12 and 23.99 metres, the shorter format increases the value of arranging appointments with individual builders. It does not establish which specific vessels will be on their pontoons.

Three British motor-yacht brands

Fairline, Princess and Sunseeker have confirmed support for 2027, while the official announcement leaves the detailed line-ups for future updates. Fairline has referred to a British debut but did not identify a model in this release.

All three yards also produce craft outside LYG’s length range. Their broad show commitments should not be interpreted as confirmation of any particular sub-24-metre model or as a new-yacht handover.

Mayflower Park retained

The organiser has agreed to continue at Mayflower Park for three years, giving exhibitors a common venue for longer-range planning. A boat-show berth and an owner’s private marina berth remain entirely different arrangements.

On-water access makes a yacht display useful for judging boarding, circulation and cabin proportions, but a static inspection is not a substitute for a separately arranged sea trial. The relevant builder should confirm availability and access.

Planning a 2027 visit

The show expects to continue combining vessels, equipment, watersports and practical demonstrations. Visitors interested in a particular luxury-yacht design should monitor the evolving participant list rather than assume every announced brand will show its entire range.
