Two long-range motor yachts in Lavrio
Selene Ocean Yachts has confirmed its participation in the 2026 Olympic Yacht Show at Olympic Marine in Lavrio, Greece. The builder is displaying two yachts from different parts of its range: the Selene 51 Classic Explorer and the Selene 64 Ocean Explorer.
The event runs from 15 to 18 October and enables visitors to compare the different designs afloat. This is a confirmed display rather than a new model announcement, and no new orders have been disclosed as part of the notice.
The 64 Ocean Explorer's contemporary arrangement
The Selene 64 Ocean Explorer measures 20.71 metres overall with a beam of 5.69 metres, according to its builder. The exhibited vessel has a Flag Blue painted hull, three guest staterooms and a separate crew cabin.
Selene lists twin John Deere engines and Onan generators and highlights a distinctive side-anchor arrangement. Those details are useful for technical comparison, although real-world fuel economy must be established under defined loading and operating conditions.
The traditional Selene 51 Classic Explorer
The Selene 51 offers a more traditional trawler profile and a three-cabin arrangement. Its protected deck areas and practical layout are intended for families considering extended passages.
Owners moving between the 51 and 64 at the same event can judge the compromises associated with length and beam. Differences in marina access, accommodation volume and likely maintenance commitments may be more relevant than appearances alone.
What prospective owners can compare
A visit aboard an explorer yacht should go beyond interior finishes and headline range estimates. Access to machinery, safe side decks, visibility from the wheelhouse and practical stowage all influence the experience of prolonged cruising.
The Olympic Marine setting allows those features to be examined in a real marina rather than a showroom. Buyers should still confirm technical specifications and any additional equipment fitted to the exact yacht on display.
Greek exhibition and future updates
Selene is attending as a silver sponsor of the sixth Olympic Yacht Show. The event is taking place in Lavrio through Sunday 18 October, giving visitors a chance to see two examples of the builder's long-range approach.
The manufacturer's announcement does not substantiate new sales or delivery milestones resulting from the show. Subsequent developments will require a separate report if verified by Selene or the organisers.
