Safiery is preparing a global IBEX 2026 release for its HiBlade 48V marine battery, combining a stated 6.75kWh capacity with cell-level impedance monitoring. The company will demonstrate its Quasar battery-management system at Stand 1.315 in Tampa from 6–8 October.
The proposed diagnostics go beyond conventional voltage and temperature readings, but the manufacturer's estimated early-warning windows are its own claims rather than independently established yacht-service outcomes. Certification status also needs to be checked before a builder specifies the product.
A battery with an internal health record
Safiery describes electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements on individual cell groups, beginning with a factory baseline and continuing during service. Its published pack specification gives 50V nominal, 135Ah, 6,750Wh and a stated mass of 29kg.
Such monitoring may provide useful trend information to an engineer, but a yacht's battery safety depends on the full installation and operating procedure. The system does not remove the need for suitable protection, isolation and inspection.
Approval details matter
The supplier lists IEC 62619 design-compliance and ISO 23625 certification as pending on its official IBEX page. Buyers should not treat a planned or pending approval as an issued certificate for the exact configuration.
Yacht engineers should also verify the chosen charger, inverter, ventilation, fire response and the legal requirements of the yacht's flag. A published capacity or efficiency figure does not alone establish safe substitution into an existing bank.
The October market introduction
Safiery identifies Stand 1.315 at IBEX and describes the HiBlade presentation as its global release. The manufacturer's material contains ambitious predictive and integration claims that should be evaluated against current technical documents and actual test evidence.
