SACS Marine strengthens its presence in Fort Lauderdale
SACS Marine is preparing a four-boat display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from October 28 to November 1, 2026, alongside the opening of a new American business base. The Italian builder is using the event to present two PIRELLI Speedboats models to the United States and demonstrate two larger Rebel yachts.
The investment includes the new SACS Marine Americas Corp. operation, with offices and dedicated berths on Fort Lauderdale's 17th Street. That gives the group a local point of contact beyond the five days of a boat show, as it builds relationships with customers and marine-industry partners.
PIRELLI 47 Open makes its American debut
The PIRELLI 47 Open is one of the two products making a United States debut at the show. It is fitted with three 425hp Mercury outboards, giving the model a substantial power package for day cruising and high-performance operation.
The boat uses a double-stepped hull developed by Mannerfelt Design Team and a walkaround arrangement intended to make movement around the perimeter more convenient. That combination puts outdoor activity and easy circulation at the centre of its design brief rather than maximising enclosed accommodation.
A centre-console model addresses another use case
Alongside the 47 Open, SACS Marine will show the PIRELLI 35 Center Console with twin 400hp Mercury outboards. The smaller model is intended to suit the American preference for open, versatile dayboats with access around a central command position.
The 35 is below the usual 12-metre starting length covered by Luxury Yacht Guide and is included here only as part of the wider company's display. For buyers whose requirements begin at 12 metres, the larger PIRELLI 47 and Rebel models are the more directly relevant exhibits.
Rebel 55 brings four powerful outboards
The Rebel 55 will appear with four Mercury 600hp outboards, delivering a combined advertised engine output of 2,400hp. It represents the larger and more yacht-like side of the builder's portfolio, with exterior leisure areas designed for owners who want the open character of a maxi-RIB.
Engine output is not the same as a measured top speed, and SACS has not reported a new independent sea trial at Fort Lauderdale in the October announcement. Prospective owners should request performance data for their preferred load, sea conditions and equipment specification.
Rebel 50G offers a configurable forward lounge
The Rebel 50G will be shown with twin Volvo Penta IPS 950 propulsion units and the Forward Lounge deck layout. The option allows the bow to function as either a dining area or a relaxation space, making it useful for owners who want their yacht to adapt to different activities during a day on the water.
This is a distinctive offering compared with a purely fixed seating layout. Buyers should inspect movement routes, shade, storage and how the arrangement works at anchor, since a convertible area needs to be practical in everyday use as well as appealing in promotional photography.
Two markets overlap at the American show
SACS Marine's four-boat selection shows the difference between compact high-performance dayboats and larger craft intended for more substantial yachting. The 47 Open and Rebel models can appeal to independent coastal owners while also attracting buyers looking for chase boats or support craft.
These uses bring different requirements for range, protection from weather, storage and service support. A yacht that makes an enjoyable private day cruiser may require a separate assessment before being specified as a superyacht tender or chase vessel.
A permanent American operation is strategically important
The new Fort Lauderdale offices and berths offer a way for SACS Marine to establish a more continuous presence in a key U.S. boating market. Local access can support commercial discussions and after-sales coordination, although the announcement does not specify a nationwide repair network or guaranteed service coverage.
For a European manufacturer entering a competitive segment, staffing and technical support can influence ownership satisfaction as much as the boat itself. Customers should clarify parts supply, warranty procedures and responsibility for any warranty work before taking delivery.
Where to examine the models
The full announcement is reported by PressMare on October 20, 2026, with the model layout available through the SACS Marine Rebel 55 official page and the Rebel 50G official page. The manufacturer pages document the models independently of the boat-show report.
The accompanying photograph comes from SACS Marine's official Rebel 55 image library. It illustrates a yacht scheduled for the Fort Lauderdale display, not a photo claimed to have been taken at an event that has yet to begin.
