The 6800 tops Riviera's Sport Yacht display

Riviera will bring the 6800 Sport Yacht Platinum to Fort Lauderdale as the flagship of its current Sport Yacht collection. The yacht measures 22.18 metres overall and remains below the 24-metre boundary despite offering the scale, accommodation and systems expected from a substantial long-range private cruiser.

At FLIBS it will sit alongside the 5600, 6000 and 6200 Sport Yacht Platinum models, giving buyers an unusual opportunity to compare much of the collection in one location. The line-up illustrates how Riviera develops the same single-level living concept across several distinct size classes.

Single-level living reaches flagship scale

The 6800 follows Riviera's Sport Yacht philosophy of connecting cockpit, alfresco area, galley and saloon across one principal level. This creates a large continuous social zone that can be opened to warm weather or closed down when owners need air-conditioned protection from heat, wind or rain.

The model was developed with superyacht designer Luca Vallebona and places strong emphasis on timeless styling, luxury finishes and straightforward operation. For private owners, the objective is to deliver a high level of space without making the yacht feel unnecessarily complex in day-to-day use.

Tender storage and IPS propulsion add practicality

A dedicated tender garage keeps the tender away from the main entertaining areas and works with a two-tier hydraulic swim platform to simplify launching and retrieval. The arrangement preserves cockpit space while still giving owners direct access to smaller craft and water activities during longer cruising programmes.

Riviera powers the 6800 with twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS1350 engines rated at 1,000 horsepower each. The integrated IPS system supports joystick manoeuvring and works with the yacht's broader electronic systems to make harbour handling more manageable for an experienced owner and small crew.

FLIBS gives the flagship a major US platform

Fort Lauderdale is Riviera's largest international boat show and gives the 6800 access to a market with extensive marina, service and owner infrastructure. The 2026 display at Bahia Mar runs from 28 October through 1 November and includes fourteen Riviera and Belize yachts.

Prospective owners can register for an inspection of the 6800 through Riviera's official model page. With several related models moored together, the show should make it easier to judge whether the flagship's additional accommodation and deck volume justify the step up from smaller Sport Yacht models.
