The 505 SUV joins Riviera's Florida fleet

Riviera has confirmed the 505 SUV for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from 28 October to 1 November 2026. The yacht forms part of a 14-model Riviera showcase at Bahia Mar and sits squarely inside Luxury Yacht Guide's sub-24-metre market.

At 17.01 metres overall, the 505 SUV offers a substantial cruising platform without moving into superyacht dimensions. Its combination of enclosed accommodation and a large cockpit is aimed at private owners who want comfortable weekends aboard and strong access to the water.

Single-level living defines the SUV concept

Riviera describes the 505 SUV as combining the cockpit versatility of its Sports Motor Yacht family with the single-level living style of a Sport Yacht. The saloon, galley, mezzanine and cockpit are arranged to create an easy transition between protected interior and open-air social areas.

That arrangement is particularly useful in warm cruising areas where owners spend much of the day outside but still want rapid access to an enclosed, climate-controlled saloon. It also reduces the number of level changes between the main entertainment spaces during everyday use.

Six berths and IPS power support private cruising

The 505 SUV provides sleeping accommodation for six people and uses twin Volvo Penta D11 IPS950 engines rated at 725 horsepower each. Riviera pairs the propulsion system with joystick control and integrated navigation technology intended to simplify manoeuvring for an experienced private owner.

With 3,300 litres of fuel capacity and substantial onboard systems, the model is designed for more than short day trips. The specification supports coastal passages and extended weekends while keeping propulsion and vessel management concentrated around familiar Volvo Penta and Riviera systems.

FLIBS gives US buyers direct access

Fort Lauderdale remains one of the most important yacht markets in North America, with extensive marina, dealership and service infrastructure surrounding the show. For Riviera, exhibiting the 505 SUV there gives prospective owners a practical opportunity to inspect the layout in a working in-water environment.

Riviera is accepting inspection requests for the 505 SUV during the event, and the yacht will sit alongside the 465 and 585 SUV models. That side-by-side display should make differences in volume, accommodation and operating scale easier for buyers to judge.
