The F58 sits in the middle of Princess’s FLIBS range

Princess’s Fort Lauderdale line-up spans from the C48 Open to the X90, placing the F58 near the centre of the display by length. That makes it a useful reference point for buyers deciding whether they need a larger crewed yacht or a more manageable owner-focused platform.

At 18.2 metres, the F58 offers a substantial flybridge and three-cabin accommodation without crossing into the operational scale of Princess’s larger Y and X Class models. For many private owners, that balance can be more important than adding another few metres.

Three cabins keep the lower deck practical

The accommodation includes a full-beam owner’s stateroom, a forward guest cabin and a flexible twin cabin that can convert to a double. Princess also offers the option of using the aft lazarette as an additional occasional berth or crew space.

This layout gives families flexibility without overloading the hull with small cabins. Owners can preserve generous storage and circulation while still sleeping six regular guests, which is often a more useful arrangement than maximising capacity for rare occasions.

MAN V8 power delivers up to 35 knots

The F58 can be specified with twin MAN V8-1000 or V8-1200 engines, with the higher-power installation taking maximum speed to about 35 knots. Fuel capacity is 3,300 litres, supporting a mix of fast coastal passages and more relaxed cruising.

Performance at this level is enough to shorten longer hops between cruising grounds without turning the yacht into an uncompromising sports boat. Buyers can therefore prioritise comfort and flybridge space while retaining the ability to move quickly when weather or schedule requires it.

Outdoor areas borrow ideas from larger yachts

Princess gives the F58 a large flybridge, foredeck terrace and cockpit that flows toward a bathing platform with optional barbecue seating. The arrangement brings several separate outdoor zones into a yacht under 20 metres.

Fort Lauderdale is an appropriate market for that layout because owners often combine social day use with Bahamas cruising and longer coastal trips. The F58’s challenge will be proving that its additional space remains easy to handle and service for owners who prefer limited crew.
