MARCOPOLO Adventure Yachts is putting its 12.70-metre MP12 into active service at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show rather than using the boat only as a static exhibit. The yacht will support Y.CO brokers by transferring clients between appointments, yachts and different areas of Port Hercule throughout the show.
The arrangement gives the Italian builder a practical demonstration of the MP12’s intended support and chase-boat role. It also places a yacht within Luxury Yacht Guide’s 12-to-23.99-metre range directly into the operating environment of the world’s largest superyachts.
A working role inside Port Hercule
Y.CO brokers will use the MP12 for client movements during the four-day Monaco event. That should expose guests to the boat under real harbour conditions, where boarding, circulation, low-speed handling and quick transfers matter as much as static accommodation.
MARCOPOLO says the model was conceived for day boating, cruising and support duties. Fold-down bulwarks widen the aft living area, while the modular deck arrangement is intended to let owners reconfigure the boat for different uses.
12.70 metres with triple Mercury V10 power
The specific MP12 assigned to Monaco is powered by three 400hp Mercury V10 outboards. Its three-step deep-V hull was developed using computational fluid dynamics, while the design comes from Roberto Delfanti Design Lab.
At 12.70 metres overall and more than four metres in beam, the MP12 begins just above the lower boundary of Luxury Yacht Guide’s coverage. The builder positions it both as an independent adventure yacht and as a fast companion craft for much larger yachts.
Monaco follows the model's 2026 show programme
MARCOPOLO made its international debut in 2026 and has already presented the MP12 at major European events. The Monaco assignment changes the emphasis from display to day-to-day operation and gives prospective clients an opportunity to experience the boat during normal show movements.
For the builder, the collaboration with Y.CO is therefore as much a live product trial as a marketing presence. The MP12 will spend the show carrying people around Port Hercule, demonstrating the exact transfer role for which many sub-24-metre chase boats are purchased.
