Saudi organisers have announced the first Red Sea Yacht Show for 14–17 October 2027 at Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina. The agreement between Sela and Tahaluf was signed during Monaco Yacht Show 2026 and identifies day cruisers alongside larger yachts in the proposed display.
A dated agreement, not a completed show
Saudi Press Agency reports that PIF company Sela and Tahaluf will organise the four-day event, with international promotion and exhibition management covered by their agreement. Its proposed mix includes new and pre-owned yachts, support vessels and day cruisers, giving a role to smaller yacht builders and equipment suppliers.
The organisers project around 50 yachts, 150 exhibitors and more than 10,000 visitors. These figures are expectations for 2027, not confirmed bookings or attendance, and the detailed list of craft has not yet been released.
A Jeddah waterfront setting
The announced venue is Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina, connecting the proposed show with an existing yachting location rather than a temporary inland exhibition hall. Owners considering a 12–23.99m yacht should seek the actual visitor and exhibitor arrangements before organising inspections.
A boat-show entry does not allocate a berth to a privately arriving yacht. Vessel access, border formalities, permitted operations and the relevant marina contract remain separate questions.
Marine and shoreside interests
The Saudi release lists dining, watches, jewellery, cars, golf and diving within the associated hospitality programme. That could give guests a broader coastal experience, although the exact participating businesses and activities still need individual confirmation.
A leisure yacht should be evaluated on specifications and sea-trial evidence, not on event projections about commercial impact. The release’s monetary forecasts are organiser projections rather than audited outcomes.
