InterMarine has expanded its partnership with Groupe Beneteau by adding Beneteau Antares, Beneteau Flyer and Wellcraft to its portfolio in Southeast Florida. The move broadens the dealer group’s coverage across outboard cruising, family boating, fishing and performance-oriented segments.

The three additions sit alongside Groupe Beneteau brands already represented by InterMarine, including Prestige Yachts, Beneteau Swift Trawlers, Beneteau GTs and Jeanneau. For buyers, the practical result is a wider spread of boats available through the same sales and after-sales organisation.

Three brands add different buyer groups

Beneteau Antares is focused on enclosed and semi-enclosed outboard cruising, while the Flyer line targets open day-boating and family use. Wellcraft adds a stronger offshore and performance identity, giving InterMarine a range that addresses substantially different owner priorities.

That breadth matters in Southeast Florida, where boating can range from short family trips to offshore fishing and longer coastal passages. A dealer carrying complementary brands can keep customers within the same support network as their boating needs change.

Dealer support is part of the expansion

InterMarine says the new brands will be backed by its established sales, service, parts and customer-support teams. The company is presenting the partnership as an ownership proposition rather than simply an increase in the number of models displayed in its showrooms.

For manufacturers, strong regional service capability is increasingly important as boats become more technically complex. Electronics, propulsion, onboard systems and warranty work influence the ownership experience, so local representation can matter as much as the initial sales process.

Groupe Beneteau strengthens its Florida reach

The expansion gives Groupe Beneteau additional coverage in one of the world’s most active recreational-boating markets. InterMarine already represents several of the group’s brands, allowing the new additions to build on an existing customer and service base.

For buyers, distribution changes directly affect which models can be viewed, sea-trialled and supported locally. In a market with thousands of competing boats, access to knowledgeable regional representation remains an important part of choosing the right yacht.

A broader portfolio can improve owner continuity

Owners often change boating style as their experience, family needs or cruising plans evolve. A dealership with several complementary brands has a better chance of retaining that relationship as a customer moves from an open day boat to an enclosed cruiser or a more offshore-focused model.

That continuity can also make servicing and trade-in discussions easier because the dealer already knows the customer’s history. For Groupe Beneteau, the expanded partnership therefore strengthens both product visibility and the longer-term ownership network behind the boats.
